Part of our intertwined existence… salmon feed forests allow for our existence. A very simplified version of a complex issue especially now, but one dear to my heart. Waterways left to be naturally cluttered with brush or broken trees are habitat. Hence the name Salmon Dream of Sunken Trees.
This is a conversation piece, focused on fish habitat which is a current issue of dire importance. As we need to consider what migrating fish like salmon and many other creatures require to get by. The long-time deforestation has left so many integral shorelines and waterways stripped and barren allowing for landslides which not only destroy salmon habitat but also compromise our very own civilized routine, allowing roadways and buildings to be washed out...
