



"I see these as 3D paintings. I have worked in ceramics in the distant past so 3D artwork is not entirely new to me. What excites me about these canvas tubes, however, is that the viewer can rearrange them, turn them, change them up as they feel. They become the viewer’s art and makes them a co-creator with me.
When I look at these paintings I can see the influence of growing up in South Africa. The pattern combining with the earthiness... are very resonating with Africa for me."
