About the Artist

Nataliia Karavan is a full-time artist from Ukraine who has recently moved to Toronto. She obtained a Master's degree from the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts with a specialization in Art & Design, and she's been creating work from her studio in Toronto since then.

She considers herself a hard-working and passionate female artist, selling original oil paintings and prints online and offline in her studio in Toronto. Presently, she has her paintings in private collections in UAE, USA, Germany, Austria, UK, and Ukraine.

She likes to combine beauty with nature to evoke emotions of joy, free expression, self-love, sexuality, and tender but impulsive energy. Her collection of Floral figures integrates flowers into dreamy compositions with female figures and floral abstracts. She also takes her inspiration from Ukrainian heritage, patterns, colours, and embroideries. Finding our true selves, self-identification, and discovering the beauty of nature are the main topics in my art practice. Nataliia loves to mix oil and spray paint to create expressionistic vibrant brushstrokes on canvas.
