Wall Sculpture inspired by scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Drosera cistiflora displays the typical honeycomb pattern of wind-dispersed dust seeds.
"My wall sculptures unveil the forms and textures of plant structures as seen from a microscope, but through clay, and in sculptural form. I am captivated by the process of translating two-dimensional micrograph renderings, into three-dimensional objects that resemble prehistoric impressions of preserved organisms and which strive to capture a glimpse of a Grand creation event or prehistoric moment in time."
