MTM Hobbes

MTM Hobbes is a 2D visual mixed media artist who works primarily with inks, acrylics and resin to create abstract artwork with interesting optical textures and details.

Creating playful art motivates MTM Hobbes to re-examine the concepts of childhood and play. Her pieces incorporate colour to evoke the attention and imagination of viewers which encourages them to reconnect with the experiences of their own younger years. It is her hope that her art will help viewers feel a sense of the familiar encouraging them to feel comfortable and “at home” in the space where the art lives.
