"As an interior designer, I'm always on the hunt for unique pieces that breathe life into spaces. Artterra's curated collection never disappoints. Each piece is a conversation starter, and their commitment to originality is unmatched. A designer's dream destination." — Amelia L.

"Constantly moving between countries, I observe the history and culture of the place, their habits and their favourite things.

I want to share a story of a small cup embodying the whole tradition of the morning espresso that I acquired while living in Italy. A passion that becomes a habit and then a tradition to share with everyone who listens.

We are the one who shares the story and our culture and preserves it."

THE ARTIST'S STORY

Maria Gavrilova

"My curiosity brought me through art history, interior and product design as well as digital visual art industries to finally understand the importance and the value of storytelling. Whatever you create at this moment, sharing a unique idea or telling a story of a person through an interior space, all of it represents us in the future. Each of us sees the world from a distinct point of view, through our own experiences and memories. Every story is different, but somehow we understand and empathize with each other. "

Maria is passionate about colour theory and explores colour combinations through her paintings. Giving meaning to colours and connecting them to a narrative; Maria conveys, through her paintings, her idea of storytelling.

Maria has a Bachelor's in Design and a Master's in Multimedia Art and Design education obtained in Rome, Italy, where she concentrated her studies in exhibit design and visual arts. In 2022, she moved to Toronto, Canada and is now exploring the world of traditional art while working closely with Art Galleries.
