Call for indigenous artists
In an effort to feature more representation from Turtle Island, artterra is committed to seeking proposals from Indigenous artists at various stages of their careers all over Canada!
Before submitting, please remember that we are devoted to First Nations, Metis and Inuit artists as well as non-status artists of Indigenous descent. Your work may reflect that but is not mandatory as you may have more intersecting identities. All entries must be in English and original works. Plagiarism, which includes the use of third-party expressions will not be accepted.
We are curating the artwork on artterra for interior design clients and we are currently accepting medium and large scale artwork i.e 12 inches and above.
Please note: there is no fee to submit work, or any other fees required. We only charge a percentage of sales once your artwork sells.
Submissions may not be represented or available for purchase on other sites or galleries during the period of our representation Feb-July 2023.
For paintings, illustrations, drawings, sculptures, prints and digital media, you may submit up to 'six' pieces of work in high-resolution digital files in jpeg or png format. Please resize your submissions before submitting to a maximum of 2 MB and no larger. Your visual art pieces should contain the title of the work, size, medium and inspiration story.
Submit your work through the application form below. Please also submit any social media handles or a link to your website you’d like to include along with your bio.
Entry Deadline: January 28th, 2023
You will be notified of the final decision via email by February 6th, 2023. If your work is selected, you will receive further information at that time. All participants will be notified via e-mail. We review and respond to every single one of our applications. If you don't hear from us in time, please check your spam folder and contact us.
All selected work will be featured in our online gallery Feb-July 2023.
