Interior Design Intern

[Paid, Fully Remote Internship for domestic students in Canada]

Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking a talented and ambitious interior design student to join our team as a part-time intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the interior design industry and work on exciting projects. You will be responsible for helping with the development of content for our audience of interior designers, including designing spaces virtually in 3D software, conducting research to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, writing creative blog posts, developing content ideas for social media, and assisting with video editing and VR/AR projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Designing virtual spaces using 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, Revit, Autodesk 3ds Max, etc.
  • Conducting research to stay informed on the latest design trends and techniques
  • Writing creative blog posts and developing content ideas for social media
  • Building relationships with interior design partners and helping the company get published in interior design magazines
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the content produced is of high-quality and aligned with the company's goals

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field, or a final-year undergraduate student with relevant experience through internships or other forms
  • Demonstrated maturity and professionalism in previous work experiences
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, Autodesk 3ds Max, or Rhino
  • Strong writing skills and creativity
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in video editing and VR/AR is a plus
  • Must be a current student registered in a Canadian post-secondary education institution, with no age limit
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
